Atobe awoke to a warm body and the sound of waves. And he smiled.

Beside him, Tezuka continued to sleep, worn out from the previous night's activities. They'd fucked so many times Atobe was sure one of them was going to die. It turned out to be Tezuka; of course, he did do a lot more of the work.

Chuckling to himself, Atobe leaned over and kissed his sleeping lover, his husband, then got out of bed.

They were on their honeymoon, taking a tour of Europe that had brought them to a rented yacht on the Mediterranean. It was perfect, as they both enjoyed being out at sea, and were avid fishermen. And with only the barest of crew to man the ship, they had it all to themselves, giving them much private time together.

Which meant lots of sex, if Atobe had anything to say about it.

His body was a bit sore as he slipped on his satin robe, and he noted several new bite-marks marring his otherwise perfect skin. Touching a mark on the side of his neck stung, and he smiled a the pain.

He went out, making his way to the bow of the ship and letting the salty air blow against his face. This was quite possibly the most peaceful he'd ever felt. Being able to say "I do" with Tezuka by his side, knowing they had dedicated themselves to each other, forever. He could finally, truly say he had it all. Even if it wasn't considered right or legal in the eyes of their country and many of their peers, or even their families. It was real in their hearts, and that wouldn't be taken away.

As Atobe watched the water go by with the leisurely pace the ship took, listening to the sound of waves being cut through, he let these thoughts swirl through his mind, until he felt strong arms circle around him from behind, and soft lips press against his neck, over the same marks that had been left the night before.

"I think you've officially killed me," Tezuka spoke into his ear between kisses.

"A magnificent way to go, ah~n?"

"There are worse ways to die."

Then they stood quietly, looking into the sea, letting the world pass by. This world that they would take on together from this point on.

Wrapped in Tezuka's arms, Atobe amended his previous thought. This was the most peaceful he had ever felt. With just the two of them, and the sound of waves.
