Almost Heaven
In the few hours of time I had before work, I decided to take Günter to what has been one of my absolute favorite places since I was a child.
....Yeah, I was about as sane as a kid as I am now.
Well, as I wasn't sure what the weather outside was like, I had him put his sweater on because it was a bit overcast out, so if it was chilly he wouldn't get cold.
Me: "And for christ's sake, get your hair out of your face."
Günter: "....People keep saying I look like a girl with that clip in."
Me: "Well they say you look like Michael Jackson without it."
He put the clip in. Quickly. .^^;
Next time someone says that, by the way, I'm going to STAB THEM IN THE MOUTH! >=(
Then it was into the bag! =D
Günter: "Why this bag and not the little tote?"
Me: "I'll need to have my hands free."
Günter: ".........."
Me: "You look creepy like that, by the way."
Günter: -___-
Günter POV!
Me: "This tree isn't as sturdy as I remember it."
Günter: "Tree?"
Me: "We're here!" =D
Günter: "Where is 'here'?"
As a child I always loved coming to the rooftop of my Grandparent's house. Only the kids were wily and nimble enough to shimmy up the tree that's right next to the house, and of we kids, I was the only one brave enough to actually do it. So it was kind of my little sanctuary. If I wanted to hide, nobody ever thought of looking there; if I wanted to get away from people and just lay and think and be alone, this was where I'd go.
And I wanted to share this with him.
Günter: "This is nice. The view is wonderful, and the breeze feels good."
Günter: "I feel at peace here."
This shot scared the crap out of me to take, because the cement between the chimneys was kinda broken, and he was having a hard time standing. Then when I finally got him to stay up and stepped back to take the picture, the wind started blowing. .o_o So just as my finger moved to press the button on the camera I decided 'never mind, screw it!' and reached to grab him before he fell. To say I'm shocked that this picture came out so well would be an understatement. .^^;
It was to sitting after that. .^^;;
Oh yeah, and he was sou much more stable standing here... </sarcasm> (it's the peak where the two sloping sides meet, aka: not a flat surface at all.. .>_> )
Me: "Are you scared?"
Günter: "I think you're more scared for me than I am for myself."
Me: "This is true."
Me: "Are you ready to go?"
Günter: "May I have a few moments more?
Me: "Sure thing."
Günter: "Thanks...."
I let him have a few minutes to himself, while I
went and teased my fox dog. XD She obviously
doesn't get the concept of roofs. .^^; It kind of went:
Me: "Kurama!" =D
Kurama: *looks around, confused*
Me: "Kurama Kurama Kurama!"
Kurama: *runs back and forth*
Me: "Kura-chan!" =D
Kurama: *finally looks up* =D
Me: "Hows a puppy!?" =D
Kurama: =D
Me: "Sit!"
Kurama: *sits*
Me: .^_____^
Kurama: *lays down*
Me: X3
Camera: *click*
Big fun, all around. .^_____^
Günter got a little....bashed...on the way back down the tree, but came out of it unscathed, and quite docile. =3 Will definitely have to take him up there again, someday.
Thanks for looking! =D
And I think my photography is getting a little better...? .^^;
